I'm a b...I really enjoyed reading your stories! I'm a bit younger than you (my elementary school days were in the 70's) & can remember my friends & name many kids in my classes. But, I can't remember my teachers names except for 6th grade.<br /><br />It sounds like you had a really mean kindergarten teacher with the nap issue! It's sad kids have to put up with such things just because they are kids. I remember nap time, but we laid on our mats and I think I enjoyed the peacefulness. I don't remember if I actually fell asleep or not, but I think the point was just to calm down & probably some of us still needed naps.<br /><br />That sounds very scary about the hurricane!!! <br /><br />Anyway, I enjoyed writing about my elementary days; it brought back memories I hadn't thought of in a long time!
